Highly recommended! The apartment is clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable (especially the bed). Lesley is the ideal host: thoughtful, kind, generous with dining and touring suggestions, happy to interact, yet never intrusive. Awaken to roosters in the Alpine air, and savor the genuine French country farm atmosphere! Breakfasts are ample and delicious (coffee, tea, croissants, breads, jams, yogurts, eggs, etc.). For Cyclists: this location is superb! At your doorstep are Glandon, Croix de Fer, Madeleine - and nearby are numerous legendary cycling routes such as L'Alpe d'Huez, Galibier, Telegraphe, and more. Lesley can help you arrange for quality bicycles. We stayed 9 days, and wish we could have stayed longer. We definitely plan to return!

My family and I had a great stay with Lesley on her farm. She was very helpful especially with bike hire, as we were in the area for the Tour de France. The accomodation was spacious and clean and my children had a lot of fun with the horses and her dog Bluey. The breakfasts were great, especially eating outside in her garden. We also appreciated the packed breakfast as we were off very early most mornings. Thanks for a great stay Lesley and next time we will definitely stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay with Lesley, the kids had a great time exploring, playing with the horses etc. Everything was very tidy and comfortable and Lesley made sure we had everything we needed. Lesley was really nice, we enjoyed chatting about France and the old country ( she hasn't lost her Australian accent ) and we learned a thing or two about how saffron is produced.

Everything was wonderful: the surroundings, the farm, the beatiful appartment. Lesley was the perfect houst, and breakfast was sublime! We had the greatest time and will come back if ever in the area, and extremely recomend it to all.

Stayed there together with my Friend Ansfried as we we went to Valmenier the day after for cycling. Each had his own spacious room and double bed. Ideal stay for 6 people all together. There is also a study and a living room. Breakfast we served in a very nice kitchen, while the host was baking biscuits and served us Everything you want. (I went for the eggs with bacon) An ideal place to stay for bike riding (near Saint jean de Maurien) and to walk. Lesley is easy to talk to in french and australian so no language barier there. I send my family up to Lesley and they still about it. They loved it very much and definetly go back! The breakfast was lovely and the apartment very spaceous and decorated with a passion for detail. Thanks for taking such lovely care of my family!

Lesley is the perfect host. Her home is in a beautiful part of France in the mountains, spacious, clean and a warm welcome and stay. Within walking distance through a small forest to the nearest village and there are good short drives to others. The area is peaceful and mountains all around. You feel like a friend with Lesley immediately rather than a guest. Fab.
